This is not affiliated with the project I'm working on, although we did try and snag one of the guys who worked on it. I had heard of this short a few months before we started our TV series, but it wasn't until now that I've been able to see it for myself.

In the spirit of the "New Super Mario Brothers" release for the DS. Which, by the way, I would highly recommend tooling around with. Many wonderfully unproductive childhood memories were brought to the surface instantly.

Those those of you who want to break into 3D, it doesn't hurt to have some UV unwrapping experience. Grace presents to you Planarity. Believe it or not, there are people do almost exactly this all day long.

The short was very slick and worth checking out if you have the opportunity. Or, if you wait a little while, it's being made into a feature film. Unfortunately our studio didn't get the contract, but I'm hoping that we'll be able to display our work on the bid test sometime within the next year.
